Younggwang Nuclear Power plant(Gyema-ri, Hongnong-eup, Younggwang-gun, Jeonranam-do)
Younggwang Nuclear Power plant, which is located in Gyema-ri, Hongnong-eup, Younggwang-gun, Jeonnam, is producing 30.33 billion kWh of electric power with its No. 1 and 2 with the capacity of 950 MWe and No. 3 and 4 with 1,000MWe. In addition, as No. 5 and No. 6 started their commercial operation respectively in May 2002 and Dec. 2002, Younggwang Nuclear Power Reactor has been established as the unique largest-scale nuclear power complex in the west coast.
